Relic of Saint Anthony of Padua coming to Springfield
Archbishop Leonard P. Blair will be celebrating a Mass at St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church in Springfield, MA on Friday, September 12, 2014 on the occasion of the relic of St. Anthony of Padua being received at Springfield from Rome.
The Archdiocese of Hartford will host a 1-day pilgrimage to Springfield to see the relic and attend the Archbishop’s Mass.
On Friday, September 12th, three buses will leave from 3 locations in the Archdiocese of Hartford: 1) St. George in Guilford, 2) St. Bridget in Cheshire and 3) St. Thomas Seminary in Bloomfield and travel to Springfield to St. Anthony Church to witness the relic of St. Anthony of Padua.
There will be a Holy Hour followed by the Archbishop's Mass and simple pasta dinner. Cost for the pilgrimage is $50 per person. For more information click on the image below.
